PUBG Mobile to Receive New Features for One-Year Anniversary

PUBG Mobile is celebrating its one-year anniversary since releasing on the App Store and Google Play. ​To honor the 365 days since release, Tencent Games and PUBG Corp will add special events starting on Wednesday, March 20.

PUBG Mobile Anniversary: New Content is on the Way

​PUBG Corp and Tencent, according to a press release, will add multiple special events for the occasion on Wednesday. Details for the events have not been released yet, but the lobby has already been updated with a birthday theme.

​”We want to thank the millions of players around the world for making this first year very special and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store in our second year. Words cannot express what the first year of PUBG MOBILE’s release has meant to the PUBG MOBILE team and, more importantly, our thriving and passionate community of players,” Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Department, Tencent said in the release.

PUBG Mobile has accrued over 200 million downloads and 30 million concurrent users, according to the release.
