President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposes people’s deputies to consider a bill which provides for a 90-day delay to fines those who will not have time to perform customs clearing with a foreign registration on the extraordinary session on July 18.

This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka during a briefing on July 17.

“The bill appeared on the agenda of the President recently, during one of the regional trips. Many people appealed to him. They physically do not have time to clear cars. Not everyone in our country, unfortunately, is wealthy enough to drive on new cars. Within 90 days, the new Parliament and Government will propose mechanisms to finally resolve this issue,” Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine explained.

In accordance with the current legislation, penalties for those who will not have time to perform customs clearing with a foreign registration, should begin on August 24.

“According to our colleagues from the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are about 600-800 thousand of cars today in Ukraine, which are still not cleared and in a foreign registration. The problem exists, and we can not close our eyes on it “, Ruslan Ryaboshapka added
