Erdoğan’s son calls for new age built by Muslims scientists

Bilal Erdoğan said Turkey needs the resolve and scientific presence of Muslim thinkers.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s son Bilal Erdoğan on Monday said Muslim thinkers and scientist would build a new age where they played a key role in the global future.

Bilal Erdoğan, who is a board member of the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam, made the statement during a panel held in honor of the namesake of the foundation,Fuat Sezgin, a scientist from Bitlis, a conservative and Kurdish-majority city in eastern Turkey.

Bilal Erdoğan said Turkey needs the resolve and scientific presence of Muslim thinkers, who according to him hold information on the West’s efforts during the leap into the Industrial Revolution.
