President paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in New York on September 11, 2001

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife Olena paid tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York.

The Head of State laid flowers to the 9/11 Memorial. The President and his wife installed a Ukrainian flag on the Memorial.

Also the presidential couple spoke with a sister and best friend of Ivan Skala, a Ukrainian-born man who died heroically during the 9/11 terrorist attack. Ivan Skala worked as a firefighter in New York and volunteered to save the lives of people on that tragic day.
