Eid al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, was performed in The Ar-Rahma Mosque today morning in the presence of worshipers and under the framework of anti-coronavirus protocols.
The worship took place in The Ar-Rahma Kyiv mosque of the Religious Administration of Ukrainian Muslims (DUMU). At the end of the holiday prayer the Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Tamim making a festive sermon addressed the audience.
Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important festivities in Islam, is the first day of the lunar month of Shawwal in the Arabic calendar. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
