Ukraine, Turkey and Azerbaijan are creating the regional alliance. Azertag reports this referring to Azer Xudiev, Azerbaijanian Ambassador in Ukraine.
The first political conferences regarding creation of the Ukraine-Turkey-Azerbaijan alliance will be held in Baku on March 6.
Delegations headed by Vasyl Bondar, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine and Umit Yalcin, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey will attend political conferences. Azerbaijan will be represented by the delegation headed by Khalaf Khalafov, country’s Deputy Foreign Minister.
The following questions will be discussed within the conference: current state and prospects of the development of the political, economic, energetic and humanitarian partnership between three countries, the development of the effective cooperation within international organizations.
In addition, delegations will discuss questions on successful implementation of cargo transportation through new transport corridors, energy supplies transportation through Caspian and Black seas.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine, Turkey and Azerbaijan signed a memorandum of the shared use of Ukrainian Railways’ (Ukrzaliznytsia) ferries.
The Ukrainian Railways noted that two ferries ‘Plevna Heroes’ and ‘Shipka Heroes’ are owned by the company. These ferries got the records on the right to property and on right of navigation under the state flag of Ukraine. ‘Shipka Heroes’ got the record on the nucleus crew.
Earlier Istanbul and Odesa started direct ferry passenger connection.
The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan claimed that Ukrzaliznytsia will start a new ferry line from Chornomorsk to Georgia in 2018. Also, he claimed that the conception of Ukraine and Georgia on the creation of the joint enterprise with the private partner using the Ukrainian ferries was approved in 2016.
