President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda of the situation in the occupied territories of Ukraine and the steps on the preparation of the meeting in the Normandy format.
“I am glad that our views on the ways to end the war are identical,” the Head of State said during a meeting with media representatives in Vilnius.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that the last Normandy format summit was held in 2016. And the fact of the meeting in December is already an achievement itself.
“There is a war in our territory, people are killed every day. I want a clear understanding of when and how we can stop this war,” the Head of State emphasized.
For his part, the President of Lithuania wished Ukraine success during the meeting in the Normandy format.
