President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that the new Ukrainian authorities are determined to solve the problems of foreign investors in our country, and invites western business to become part of the process of transformation of Ukraine into a European developed country.

“This is what is most important to us: we will identify and systematically address all the problems of western companies in Ukraine – from customs and tax to investor protection and intellectual property rights,” the Head of State promised in a meeting with US businessmen.

“We have everything for this today: the political will of the President, the majority in the Verkhovna Rada, the government and the Prime Minister willing to work. The only thing we lack today is time. The society will not wait several years for something to work in Ukraine. We implement structural transformation and I sincerely invite you all to become part of this important process – transformation of Ukraine into a truly European developed country, free from corruption and full of business opportunities,” he added.

The President stressed that transparency and the rule of law were indispensable prerequisites for successful business, attracting investments and implementing new ideas.

“We will reform the judicial system so that every investor – western or Ukrainian – can confidently count on justice. We have already started reforming the law enforcement agencies to ensure that corruption crimes are investigated and punishment for them is imminent,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State urged the investors to believe in Ukraine and promised to make every effort to justify this trust. “Together, I am confident, we will succeed,” the President said.
