On Friday, June 7, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a closed meeting with journalists in the country residence Zalissia. Representatives of the Ukrainian media shared their impressions of the meeting on Facebook.

It is worth noting that the guests do not distribute the content of the conversations, since the meeting was held in the off-record format.

According to Natalia Ligachova, editor-in-chief of Detector Media, many members of the presidential administration attended the meeting, including Zelensky’s press secretary, Yulia Mendel.

“… I received a lot of information about the motives, actions and team of the new president. There were almost all the people from his team, and this was valuable because it was possible to debate about the painful issues with them, and they all were ready for a constructive dialogue, “Ligachova wrote.

She noted that the “informality” has its advantages, but she “would prefer to meet in a different format.”

According to Svitlana Ostapa, head of the Supervisory Board of Suspilne channel, Zelensky promised journalists to hold a press conference on the results of the first 100 days of his presidency.

“Journalists, as always, asked many questions. I asked when he would give a press conference, so that all journalists have equal access to the head of state. He said not very confidently that he would give it after a 100-day presidency. Let’s see, ”Ostapa informed.
