Zakarpattia should become a “tourist mecca” for the whole of Europe – President
The Head of State is convinced that Zakarpattia is an extremely beautiful and interesting region for foreign tourists.
Speaking at the Zakarpattia Regional Development Council, President Petro Poroshenko emphasized the importance of developing the tourism industry in the region.
“Nature in Zakarpattia requires attention and respect. It’s true. It is marvellous. Today, I am the promoter of tourism in Zakarpattia. Its opportunities are inexhaustible, because your land is a truly unique pearl of Europe and Ukraine,” President Petro Poroshenko.
The Head of State is convinced that Zakarpattia is an extremely beautiful and interesting region for foreign tourists.
“All tourism development projects in Zakarpattia are important: the Museum of Forest and Rafting on the Chorna River, the restoration of the Nevytsky Castle, the ordering of access to the reserves, the development of the hotel business. Zakarpattia deserves to become a “tourist mecca” of Ukraine and the whole of Europe,” the President noted and stressed that hard and joint work was necessary to realize that goal.
