It has been claimed that Turkey demands the return of Ali Gül
Republic of Turkey is not letting go of members of Gülen Movement residing in Ukraine.
The list of Turkish citizens that Turkey seeks extradition from Ukraine, published in the Ukrainian media on July 17, 2018 including journalists, teachers and businessmen as being the next targets of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) keeps being leaked.
Out of the MIT’s target list of the 10 Turkish citizens ,five names had been published only.
Out of the remaining 5 names, Ali Gul’s name has been leaked to the media as the 7th Hizmet Movement Member that Turkey asks his extradition from Ukraine.
He began working as a teacher, became a vice-principal at Meridian International School later, since its establishment in 2001 until he left Ukraine in 2017. He is now in Canada seeking asylum. He graduated from University at I. I. Mechnikov in Odesa in 2001, did his master at Dragomanov University in 2013 in Kiev and finished his PhD in education in 2017at Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University.
In July of 2018 Ukraine has handed journalists Yusuf İnan and Salih Zeki Yiğit over to Turkey.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Turkey Recep Tayip Erdogan agreed to return all the people associated with Fethullah Gülen.
On 03 November 2018, in Istanbul Erdogan and former President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting. Erdogan told that; “I am of the belief that we will continue the cooperation in the future as well so as to fully remove the FETO presence in Ukraine.”
DOZENS SNATCHED ABROAD
Back in Turkey, Erdogan has vowed to “cleanse” his country of its Gulen-linked enemies. His government has dismissed some 140,000 public servants and investigated on alleged terrorism charges more than 600,000 people. More than 50,000 have reportedly been formally charged and kept in jail during trial.
On 18’th of June, Turkish prosecutors in İzmir, Konya and Ankara provinces issued detention warrants for 168 people as part of a post-coup crackdown targeting followers of the faith-based Gülen movement.
Meanwhile, Ankara’s campaign to round up alleged Gulen supporters anywhere in the world has expanded.
“If not today, then tomorrow, one day every member of the FETO traitors’ front will pay for his treason against the country and the nation,” Erdogan told a congress of his Justice and Development Party (AKP) a year ago.
The Turkish-led crackdown has already prompted school closures and more than 100 people being plucked from at least 18 countries.
