Ukraine International Airlines announces new destinations to be introduced within 5 years

The airline company Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv) over the course of the next five years is going to introduce a number of new destinations. The chairman of the supervisory board of the corporation Aron Mayberg said this at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

In particular, the company expects to start flying from Kyiv to Vynnytsya, Copenhagen, Cairo, Deli, Toronto and Sanya as soon as this year. Next year, flights to Mykolaiv, Hamburg, Lisbon, Naples, Oslo, Gomel, Ashgabad, Tashkent, Izmir, Shanghai are expected to begin. In 2020, Kyiv will be connected to Uzhgorod, Dublin, Manchester, Bologna, Gdansk, Bishkek, Kuwait, Miami and Guangzhou. Flights to Zagreb, Varna, Tallinn and Seoul are going to be introduced in 2021. In 2022, Ukraine International Airlines expects to begin operating flights from Kyiv to Belgrade, Bratislava, Beirut, Chiraz, Addi-Ababa and Chicago.

Ukraine international Airlines was established in 1992. It currently operates flights between Ukraine and over 80 cities across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East and CIS countries. It also offers interlining with partner airlines to more than 3,000 cities worldwide. The company currently operates more than 1100 scheduled flights per week.

Presently, the company’s fleet contains 43 aircraft of various modifications including 27 medium-haul Boeing-737 NG airplanes. Ukraine International Airlines is 100% privately owned, one of its end beneficiaries is Ihor Kolomoysky.
