The leader of “Fatherland” political party Yuliya Tymoshenko will not be the moderator in the debates between Volodymyr Zelensky and Petro Poroshenko on the NSK Olympic. Spokesperson of Volodymyr Zelensky’s electioneering campaign Dmytro Razumkov stated this on the air of Radio Nove Vriemya.

“She would be an independent arbiter, as she would criticize both candidates. If she agreed, then 60% of voters would be represented at the debates on the NSK Olympic. In other words, more than half of the country could be represented. But it is as it is,” Razumkov said.

According to the spokesperson, the moderator’s place will be suggested to somebody else.

“It supposed to be an independent referee, who will be equidistant to both parties”, – the advisor noted.

Earlier, On April 4, presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky offered Yulia Tymoshenko to become the moderator in his debates with the incumbent president Petro Poroshenko.

Tymoshenko responded she would consider this option; but even before she chose any of the options, Ukraine’s National Public TV Company announced that TV hosts Pavlo Kazarin and Myroslava Barchuk would be the moderators.
