The Fourth Conference on Reforms in Ukraine will be held in Lithuania on July 7, 2020. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with media representatives following the negotiations with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda in Vilnius.

“Next year, the Republic of Lithuania will host a major international event – the fourth Conference on Reforms in Ukraine. I am pleased to announce that its date has been agreed. It’s July 7, 2020. At the invitation of President Nausėda, I am planning to personally take part in this important event for our country,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

The Head of State also thanked Gitanas Nausėda for the fruitful cooperation and meaningful negotiations.

“They (negotiations – ed.) confirmed the true strategic nature of relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up.

In turn, Gitanas Nausėda expressed hope that it would be a crucial conference.

“We hope that a conference on reforms in Ukraine will be held in Vilnius on July 7. I think it will be a crucial conference not because it will be held in Lithuania, but because it will allow you to speak at the international level about the reforms that are already taking place in your country,” Gitanas Nausėda said.

According to him, it will facilitate the investors’ and donors’ assistance to Ukraine.
