American Chamber of Commerce is interested in the development of the digital economy in Ukraine

During the meeting, representatives of American business focused on the problematic issues of work in Ukraine.

Advisor to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, during which he presented a digital plan of action.

“The development of the digital economy should be priority number one for Ukraine. We are obliged to make a digital transformation of existing industries and create favorable conditions for the emergence of new ones. Otherwise, we risk falling behind the world’s leading economies forever. In conjunction with core business and community, we have defined clear tasks and goals for 2024.We are very interested in attracting members of the American Chamber of Commerce to develop joint projects in the area of Broadband Internet, eID, etc.” Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized.

During the meeting, representatives of American business focused on the problematic issues of work in Ukraine, including searches in IT companies, taxation of the IT industry and access to infrastructure for placement of telecommunications equipment providers, as well as key interests for the development of mobile and fixed Broadband Internet, e-court and adoption of priority bills required for the IT industry.

All these proposals will be elaborated by the Office of the President of Ukraine in order to attract innovative American businesses to the development of the digital sphere in Ukraine.
