President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy together with his wife Olena met with representatives of the Ukrainian community in Vilnius.
In particular, the Head of State spoke with Ukrainian children studying in the Lithuanian capital.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked the children about their studies and expressed hope that young Ukrainians would come back to their homeland.
«Come home after receiving education! We will definitely be waiting for such wonderful children,” the Head of State said.
The President also talked with the military – participants of the ATO/JFO, who undergo rehabilitation in Vilnius, as well as with the military who study English at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of Lithuania.
In addition, during an official visit to the Republic of Lithuania, the President and his wife laid flowers to the monument to Taras Shevchenko.
The presidential couple also paid tribute to those deceased for Lithuania’s independence.
