President on the effectiveness of cooperation with the European Union at the regional level: The EU share in exports of Rivne region is already 78%
Petro Poroshenko added that the small and medium enterprises already provide more than 80% of the total volume of products sold in the region.
President Petro Poroshenko noted that due to the deepening of cooperation with the European Union, the EU share in the export of Rivne region reached 78%. “This is the result of our work, this is the result of the opening of markets. Only last year the export there increased by 15.6%,” the President noted during the meeting of the Regional Development Council of Rivne region.
The Head of State noted that each community should compete for the investor, and the Rivne region is now looking for opportunities to attract foreign investment.
The President noted that the communities of the region are seeking to create high-paid jobs in their territories. He emphasized the importance of such an expansion of employment opportunities for an area where 53% of the population lives in rural areas.
