President instructed to prepare a program on waste processing enterprises and “green energy” of Zakarpattia
The President stressed the need to combine efforts to solve the problems. The Head of State noted that due to decentralization the community has an opportunity to define its priorities.
During the Regional Development Council in Zakarpattia region, President Petro Poroshenko instructed to prepare a special program on waste processing enterprises and “green energy” of the region.
The Head of State stressed that the we should change the country by the joint efforts of all Ukrainians, each at their own level. “We must plan and develop a special program for Zakarpattia on the priority proposals for waste processing enterprises and energy.
The President instructed Vice Prime Minister – Minister for Regional Development, Construction and HCS Hennadiy Zubko and Zakarpattia RSA Head Hennadiy Moskal to prepare the relevant proposals and provide the necessary result.
Hennadiy Moskal noted that the issue of waste processing enterprises was a topical issue for the whole country. According to him, forests account to 52% of the region’s territory, hence, there is not enough land for the landfills.
The President stressed the need to combine efforts to solve the problems. The Head of State noted that due to decentralization the community has an opportunity to define its priorities. “Do you know how much money was allocated in support of local self-government in 2013? 500 million UAH. Now it is 33.5 billion UAH. This is the path the state has covered in 5 years. This is what is being allocated to solve local problems,” Petro Poroshenko emphasized.
