Ukraine’s female combat medic dies in Donbas

Sabina Halytska, the combat medic that worked in the combat area in Donbas was killed during an attack of Russian militants. The 10th Detached Mountain Assault Brigade that suffered the loss of their comrade-in-arms reported that on Facebook.

‘Our medics came under enemy fire while administering medical aid to the civilians. Sabina, our sister, a doctor, a servicewoman, a person with a big heart has passed away. Another fighter was wounded. Killing women and civilian residents is all these damned Russian mercenaries are capable of’, the post on the Brigade’s Facebook reads.

Russia’s hybrid military forces mounted 20 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another four as wounded in action (WIA). “In the Luhansk sector, the enemy used 122mm artillery systems, mortars of various calibers and infantry fighting vehicles against the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Troyitske,” the press center of the Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation Headquarters reported on Facebook on Thursday morning.
