[Video] Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Ukraine

Eid al-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims around the world that marks the end of Ramadan Islamic holy month of fasting. More than 3 thousand Muslims in Kyiv gathered in the main mosque of the country, Ar-Rahma.

Traditionally, the celebration began with Takbir, Namaz and the Sermon. After the sermon, representatives of the diaspora exchanged greetings with representatives of the diplomatic corps and parishioners, after which all guests of the festival went to a charity fair organized by the Spiritual.

This month, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Ukraine fed 450,000 people with iftars, more than 15 charity events were organized, some were organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.

There was Sheikh Ahmed Tamim the Supreme Mufti of Ukraine and he celebrated Eid al-Fitr with the Ukrainian Muslims.

Children are very happy about the holiday. On this day they are given sweets and presents.
