Ex-captive of Donbas militants blown up near her house

Now the injured woman is in the hospital.

Valentyna Buchok, who was earlier released from the Donbas militants captivity, was blown up on mine near her household. This happened in the village of Ivanopol in Donbas on Saturday, June 20. The Red Cross of Ukraine employee Tetiana Boysenko reports this on Facebook.

It is noted that now the injured woman is in the hospital.

Police of the Donetsk region informed that an explosion occurred on the territory of the household, as a result of which the woman received bodily harm.

The investigative-operational group, dog handlers and explosives engineers are working at the scene. Now law enforcement officers establish the circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary legal qualification of the event is Art. 15, Art. 115 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

News of Donbas reports that this is not the first attempt on Buchok. In October 2019, a grenade was thrown into the yard near her house, the perpetrators have not yet been found.
