Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed the launch of a large-scale educational project for pupils with executives of Ukrainian TV channels

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and executives of Ukrainian TV channels discussed the implementation of a large-scale educational project for pupils of 5-11 grades who study at home due to the imposition of quarantine in the country.
During a meeting, the Head of State said that due to restrictive measures introduced in the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus, pupils switched to distance education. Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to launch a nationwide educational TV project, in which the best Ukrainian teachers will teach video lessons on various subjects of the school program for 5-11 grades, and the biggest Ukrainian TV channels will broadcast them at the most convenient time for children.
According to the President of Ukraine, the format of such a TV project should be not only informative and convenient for viewing, but also interesting for children, as well as for their parents, grandparents who stay at home because of quarantine.
It is envisaged that the TV lessons will be broadcasted both on national Ukrainian channels and on a number of regional ones. They will also be available online.
The leadership of Ukrainian TV channels supported the initiative of the President on the need to produce and launch such an important social project given the imposition of quarantine in Ukraine.
