Head of State and his wife prayed for the preservation of Ukraine’s unity

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko together with his wife Maryna Poroshenko took part in the prayer event “God, give us unity”. The joint prayer was conducted in Kyiv near the monument to Prince Volodymyr the Great.

The prayers was carried out by Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Epifaniy. Prayers were also conducted by the leaders and representatives of churches and religious organizations.

Members of the Nationwide Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, people’s deputies of Ukraine and representatives of the public also took part in the event.
