Together, we radically change the state – President got himself acquainted with the work of the village ambulatory in Kirovohrad region
The President noted that the reform of rural medicine took into account foreign experience, in particular Germany.
During his working visit to Kirovohrad region, President Petro Poroshenko visited the Protopopivka Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic. During the communication with the local residents, the President noted the importance of improving rural medicine.
The Head of State noted that outpatient clinics were being built in the countryside at the expense of $ 1.5 billion confiscated from the previous government. “6 billion hryvnias of these 1.5 billion dollars were allocated to my program called Rural Medicine,” he said.
Petro Poroshenko emphasized: “What is rural medicine? This is an ambulance room, diagnostic equipment, so that a health worker or a doctor can take blood pressure, listen, make a cardiogram. And if a doctor is not competent enough, he will send a patient to a doctor who specializes in the disease. Why is this done? To save “platinum minutes” and “golden hours”.
The President noted that the reform of rural medicine took into account foreign experience, in particular Germany.
“Today, there should be a high-quality building, diagnostic equipment, Internet connection. Medications should be available, so that a doctor has an opportunity to save lives and provide affordable medicines at least in the main directions,” Petro Poroshenko noted.
He noted that the largest program for the reform of rural medicine was taking place exactly in Kirovohrad region: “Together, we radically change the state”.
The President also noted that the outpatient clinic had a vehicle for transportation of patients if necessary.
The President inspected the outpatient clinic and communicated with the medical staff.
