President of Ukraine on the Day of the City in Dnipro: Whatever we celebrate, remember our defenders
Congratulating the residents, the President asked them to remember those who defend Ukraine during any celebration.
During his working trip to the Dnipropetrovsk region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in the opening of the tournament “The Strongest Man of Ukraine 2019” within celebrations of the Day of the City in Dnipro.
Congratulating the residents, the President asked them to remember those who defend Ukraine during any celebration.
“I wish you all happiness, health, the end of this war, the return of all our boys and girls back home. Whatever we discuss, whatever we celebrate, I would like us to remember those who defend us,” the Head of State stated.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also reminded that the Dnipropetrovsk region is his homeland. “I never prepare for a speech when I am in the heart of Ukraine. And for me, as for every Ukrainian, the heart of Ukraine is where parents live, grandparents are buried. Therefore, I am in the heart of Ukraine, the Dnipropetrovsk region,” the President said.
