Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde.
Andriy Yermak thanked for the strong support of Ukraine by the Swedish government, first of all for the consistent position of Sweden in support of restoration of our country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the assistance to the Government of Ukraine in carrying out reforms.
The interlocutors discussed the security situation in Donbas. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden expressed full support for the efforts of the President of Ukraine aimed to ensure a peaceful settlement. The Minister also confirmed her country’s position on maintaining sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the Minsk agreements. In this context, particular attention was paid to Sweden’s future OSCE presidency in 2021.
The parties also discussed prospects of expanding the activities of Swedish investors in Ukraine and further intensification of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
