Everyone is responsible for the epidemiological situation in the country – President
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that the incidence rate among the population has increased to 66.7 per 100,000 people.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a traditional meeting with representatives of the government, law enforcement agencies and relevant agencies on preventing the spread of coronavirus.
The Head of State was informed that there were some outbreaks in the country. In particular, 52 cases of infection were detected at NTUU KPI. Due to the outbreak in St. Theodosius Monastery, disinfection is carried out on its territory, as well as in the university dormitory. Due to the epidemic situation, the main Christian denominations abandoned the procession on the Day of the Baptism of Rus’. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 37 nightclubs were closed due to violations of quarantine norms.
“Today, every business owner, director, manager, visitor bears responsibility for health. Everyone is responsible for the epidemic situation of the country in the near future. And I am grateful to everyone who understands this responsibility. We all strive to return to the normal rhythm of life. But we will be able to do it only by overcoming the coronavirus infection,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
