President appointed Yurii Husiev to the post of Kherson RSA
Yurii Husiev thanked for the trust and noted that he considered his new post extremely responsible.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is on a working trip to the Kherson region, introduced new Kherson RSA Head Yurii Husiev. The Head of State informed of the signing of the relevant decree on July 13, during a meeting on the implementation of the projects on the equipment of Chonhar and Kalanchak checkpoints.
“I want to hear about the main issues, development plans of the Kherson region. It is not a coincidence that we are at the checkpoint. I really want to hear when there will be a normal infrastructure, I want us to reach an agreement on specific terms. What do you think of these issues, Yurii?” the Head of State noted handing over a certificate to the newly appointed RSA Head.
Yurii Husiev thanked for the trust and noted that he considered his new post extremely responsible. He promised to change approaches in his work and informed of the launch of the Lift program.
“It starts in the Kherson region. People will be recruited to the district state administrations exclusively through the Lift program,” the RSA Head said.
He called on everyone willing to work in the presidential vertical in the Kherson region to join the President’s team and submit their applications on the website.
The creation of the Lift platform was announced by Volodymyr Zelenskyy on iForum in Kyiv in May. It is a social lift for new people in politics aimed at positive changes in the country, its comprehensive socio-economic and cultural development.
“I will make every effort to make the Kherson region a pioneer not only in this,” Yurii Husiev emphasized.
Also, the Head of State introduced the Permanent Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Anton Korynevych was appointed to this post by a decree earlier. The Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea promised to do everything to keep the Crimean issue on the agenda and fully protect the rights of citizens living in the occupied Crimea and internally displaced persons from the peninsula.
“People are a priority for us,” he said.
