The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan today considered the situation with abduction of Sapat education network President and Kyrgyz citizen Orhan Inandi by Turkish special service.

The Foreign Ministry was asked if the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey would be called for consultations in case the Ambassador would not be allowed a meeting with Orhan Inandi.

First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev said everything depends on reply of Turkey.

“We will carry out further work depending upon this reply,” he said.

“Of course, we should have good relations with Turkey. But this was a very wrong step of the special service of Turkey with regard to independence of Kyrgyzstan,” MP Janar Akaev said.

The Ambassador of Turkey was handed in a note on July 6 with the demand to return abducted Orhan Inandi back to Kyrgyzstan.

Orhan Inandi went missing since the night of June 1. It became known in the evening of July 5 that he was abducted by the Turkish special service and taken to Turkey.
